Grants Pass Water Treatment
Project Summary
Located in Southern Oregon, the Grants Pass wastewater treatment upgrade project significantly improved the City’s treatment capacity. As an integral part of the design-build team, Power City worked collaboratively with the construction team and Prime Design Builder, Jacobs to implement improvements at the existing facility, while maintaining operations throughout the construction timeline. Our role touched almost every aspect of the facility, including switchgear, feeders, medium voltage and terminations, transformers, grounding, lighting, plant wide PLC upgrades modifications, replacements of existing control systems, and a new SCADA system. All this work was coordinated and performed in such a way that the plant stayed operational during every stage of construction, making the job complicated but very satisfying when we pulled it off successfully.
