Kalispel Golf & Country Club

KGCC Clubhouse.

Project Summary

The Kalispel Golf and Country Club opened in 1898 as the Spokane Country Club and has gone through some very notable changes and improvements over its 120+ year history. In 2015 The Kalispel Tribe of Indians purchased the club, changed the name, and started making improvements to the facility. Power City Electric was selected as the electrical contractor for these improvements to the golf course clubhouse and facilities, in addition to our many other projects over the years with the Kalispel Tribe. For this project at the Clubhouse, we were challenged by the need to modernize an older building and working around a tight schedule to minimize downtime to the club’s membership, challenges that our team excelled at. Through forward-thinking management and an eye on sustainable economic development, the Kalispel Tribe of Indians has become one of the top ten private employers in the Spokane region, employing over 2,000 people and donating over $19 million to regional non-profit organizations.
