Sacred Heart

Sacred Heart.

Project Summary

When Mother Joseph and the Sisters of Providence founded Sacred Heart Medical Center in 1886, it was a small, 31-bed facility built along the Spokane River. Since then, it has become a major regional medical center featuring the best doctors, specialists, and staff around and is now one of the largest hospitals in the Northwest with 644 beds. Home to a regional cancer center, a transplant center, the only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, and Level IV NICU in Eastern Washington, specialty care, support groups and more. You’ll find world-class medical care right here, close to home in Spokane.

For decades, Power City has worked on hundreds of projects to help Sacred Heart advance its ability to care for patients. A few highlights include construction of the 6 Story Women and Children’s Center, emergency backup power systems that require incredible coordination to keep the hospital’s power stable while we install and test backup generators, countless MRI and CT scanners, EP1 labs, new chillers, emergency room expansion and many, many more important projects.
